South Africa
Victoria Falls
In the spring of 2005 we visited South Africa. Our first stop was actually in Zambia, at Victoria Falls. We stayed two nights at the Zambesi Sun resort, which was within easy walking distance of the falls.

On Safari
We arrived at the Bakubung Bush Lodge late Wednesday, just in time for a buffet dinner. We were up bright and early the next morning for our safari in the Pilanesberg Game Reserve. We then took the 20 minute shuttle to Sun City - a Las Vegas-style resort town. The banner above is from the safari.

Cape Town
The second week we stayed in Camps Bay, a beach town about 10 minutes down the coast from Cape Town. From there we explored the Western Cape region.

The Wineries
The Coastal Wine Region is just outside Cape Town. Within the region there are seven different wine routes. We only managed to get to three of them!
