Trip to Florida
Over Christmas 2010, we visited Florida. We spent 5 days in Tampa and 2 in Orlando. Other than some issues getting home because of closed airports, we had a good time!

Busy Week in Halifax
The Membertou 400, Fleet Week, a visit from the Queen, and then Canada Day events, all from June 25th to July 1st, 2010.

Pumpkin People
Every October the town of Kentville in the Annapolis Valley celebrates the beginning of the harvest season with a Harvest Festival. The highlight of the festival is the "pumpkin people" seen at various spots around the town. We finally made it down in 2008 to check it out.

The Gaspé Peninsula
In September 2008, we drove to Quebec City to meet Sharyn and Jeremy who were driving from North Bay to live in Halifax. Our first night was in Sackville, NB. We then spent three days touring the peninsula ending up with a night in Lévis, Quebec, where we took the ferry to Quebec City.

Boulder, Colorado
On March 2008, we visited Boulder, Colorado. This was a business trip so we actually did get a couple of days work in. Between working we managed to visit a number of locations in Boulder and the surrounding mountains. We even got to Denver for an evening.

Trip to Regina
In November 2006 Debbie had a business trip to Regina. Despite the weather (which was very cold), she really enjoyed the trip, meeting and working with her colleagues in Saskatchewan.
